- Bao is here! The traditional seed-sowing game is now live with Bao la Kiswahili, Maasai and other variants. Learn through a tutorial and a ladder of challenges, practice against bots, play casual or ranked, and unlock feats. The board now shows seeds moving round the pits, with clearer capture feedback and accessible pits.
- Play a friend: Hit Play on a friend's profile or on the friends page and pick a game. You now have a screen to manage friends and blocks, and friend requests light up your bell. Invite links are for one friend and close behind them, and a guest can join a live invite.
- Slow games: Play at your own pace, with emails on every move (you choose how often). Slow games update within seconds, you can see and cancel your waiting seeks and invites, and you can end a game from your list. Strangers can find and join slow tables.
- Sharing and challenges: Share finished results, dailies and duels as a link or picture, and a shared result now works as a challenge showing who sent it.
- Live matches and events: Watch live matches, even when signed out. Resigning, timeouts and walkouts are now recorded and rated correctly, and private friend matches stay unrated. Arena sessions have their own pages with a waiting room that opens by itself and a reminder a day ahead.
- Ranks, ratings and seasons: Ranked matches pair on rating alone, and you earn a rank by placing. Seasons close on their end date, and you can rate your opponents.
- Account and notifications: There's a new screen for passkeys and recovery codes, and changing sign-in methods asks for a recent sign-in. Inbox messages name their game, and you won't get notices about a game you're watching. Emails look more like NowPlay.
- Fixes: Many layout, accessibility and reconnection fixes, including reduced-motion support, clearer end-of-match screens, and an easier way back into a live game.
